ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Scoala Gimnaziala Nr. 1 is a public school in Moreni, a small town, situated in the south of Romania.

​

There are around 554 students who attend our school and there are 47 teachers, both in the primary and the secondary level.

Our school received the title of European School in 2017 and we are interested in exceeding the quality of the educational process, by offering our students the best education, to optimize our curricular and extracurricular activities, by improving teaching with innovative methods and strategies, digital tools and creative communication.

Our Pedagogical Plan includes the internationalization of our school and encourages students to participate in attractive, innovative and various intercultural activities. In this way, they have the opportunity to find out information on different cultures and they can use their creativity to share it among the others. Also, students will learn to respect the cultural differences by working efficiently in an intercultural environment.
